“Sooner or later it’ll be used for shagging”

I found this particularly hilarious since I just got back from a conference where a Firm-funded futurist spent a lot of his time waxing poetic about the glories of Second Life and the New Digital Economy™.

Sex is indivisible from Second Life. It’s an aspect of the broad freedoms allowed its users. Frankly, if it’s on the Internet, you can be certain that sooner or later (and usually sooner) it’ll be used for shagging.

I am one of those dinosaurs who thinks that if one’s Second Life escapism is a big time-eater, then it’s a pretty good bet the First Life needs a lot of work, too.
