    Non-violence essentially works against an opponent with a semblance of conscience & ethics. It seeks to hold a mirror to his injustice hoping that good sense prevails ultimately leading to transformation. But with terrorism and totalitarian ideologies, whose thumb rule is denial & negation of everything else solely for the sake of power, non-violence becomes a weakness rather than peaceful potent weapon.
