Charnie – Air Hostess

The talented Nick Grant has crafted a set of images evocative of the early Jet Age.

My first impressions were “Hey!  A BOAC bag!  Neat.”  “Hey!  A BOAC lapel pin!  Where can I get one of those?”  “Hmmm… I wonder what kind of aircraft that is?”  (Research reveals it to be a Hunting Percival Pembroke C1.)

Later on I realised there was a model there, too.

Glad you like the pics, they were taken at the Gatwick Aviaton museum.

I got all the badges and bits from ebay 🙂
