Kandahar power grid

Corporal Dave Valentine marches past the ragged and relatively unsafe power lines in Kandahar City. The lines are stringed together with tape and pieces of wire, the power grid in the city is unreliable and electricity is supplied to different parts of the city at various times throughout the day. Members of Stab A from the Kandahar Provincial Reconstruction Team (KPRT) conduct a foot patrol in District 9 of Kandahar City on 2 February 2010.
